Welcome to SummerBrooke Gardens, and thank you for visiting our online Tea and Garden Shoppe.
My name is Brooke Jacoby. I grew up in Southern California with a love of gardening. An avid lover of all things green and colorful, my Mom will tell you that she was never allowed to go to the garden center without me!
Growing up, it was always a dream of mine to open a quaint and cozy little shop filled with wonderful treasures for the home and garden, or to become an interior designer. In the end my love of the garden won out, and in college, I majored in horticulture. But I never stopped dreaming of one day opening a charming little shop.
Over the years I worked in the Travel, Retail and Garden industries and found that with each new business, I was able to learn and apply something from every job experience to my future entrepreneurial business venture.
With a lot of dreaming, planning, researching, support and encouragement from family and friends, I was able to take my passion for tea, gardening, and the home, and open SummerBrooke Gardens in beautiful downtown Brevard, North Carolina in late May 2008.

I'm thrilled to be able to share a bit of SummerBrooke Gardens through our online shop. We have a wonderful selection of premium loose leaf teas from such renowned tea masters as Harney & Son's and Tea Forte. In addition, SummerBrooke Gardens carries many lovely tea accessories that will enrich your tea experience.
